Two threatened prairie species, Riddel's Goldenrod and Sullivant's Milkweed are found in this wet prairie ecosystem. It is one of the last of its kind in Lambton County. The site was named after Dennis Rupert, a local naturalist who first recognized the presence of these rare plants on the property. |
