  1. Minutes were reviewed. Brenda moved, Bruce seconded they be approved as amended.
  2. Financial Status. David presented an update.  He will be sending a letter updating on Shell on our progress.
  3. Dennis Rupert Prairie Reserve. Ministry of Natural Resources will not be contacted at this time for a burn.
  4. BrightÕs Grove Lagoon. Forty-three people were in attendance on the walk which occurred on MotherÕs Day. Another walk may be held in two years. Brenda indicated the need to mulch the trees here, most of which are doing well.
  5. Blackwell Wildlife Refuge. Acquisition work is in progress.
  6. Perch Creek Wildlife Habitat. Work is in progress.
  7. Huron Shore Flyaway. Members suggested that printing be done again soon, as money is available.
  8. College Park. The park is looking splendid.  Donor plaques will be ordered.
  9. Logan Pond. The observation deck is up.  Netting will not work for bank stabilization so an alternative will be created.  The Special Natural Area proposal will go to council on Monday. [proposal was passed ÒdecisivelyÓ by council] The LAC committee asked for suggestions on Cathcart Park.  Suggestions were given which will be communicated through David.
  10. American Chestnuts. Many trees are ready at DeGroots.  A motion was given authorizing $400 for the trees and $25 for gas costs.  Brenda moved, David seconded, motion passed.
  11. Website. Upgrades for the site are supported.
  12. List of properties. Discussed spit of land in Point Edward as well as area on Cathcart.
  13. New Business.

FON conference is May 23. We could jointly host a conference in a few years.

Protection issues. Darcy will write a letter to the city regarding trees at a property beside St. Thomas Aquinas school and future development in other areas.

T-shirts. Ordered by Brenda for $224.25

Hobbyfest. Takes place Sunday July 20 10:00-4:00 Ð volunteers were recruited.

Motion to give $50 for Ken Hall for logo. Moved by Brenda, Darcy seconded, passed.
